WILDLIFE ALLIES

For wildlife. For wild places. For the future.

We work with the community to gather resources and build awareness to support the rescue and rehabilitation and conservation of native animals, restore habitats, and protect Australia’s biodiversity.

Our Mission

We're passionate about protecting Australia's native species, conserving biodiversity and supporting the people on the frontlines of wildlife care and rehabilitation. Through hands-on rescue efforts, habitat restoration, community programs and practical resources, we’re taking action and helping others do the same. Whether it’s attending rescues, campaigning, cleaning up local beaches, restoring habitats or running workshops, we’re here to spark awareness, build understanding and inspire real-world change.

Our Vision

Our near future goals:

  • Launch a Wildlife Support program to provide critical supplies for wildlife rehabilitators

  • Establish suburban wildlife corridors to connect fragmented habitats

  • Work with local councils to improve wildlife habitat and safety

  • Provide education and alternatives to second generation rodent poisons and advocate for the banning of second generation baits

  • Work with councils and private landowners to install artificial hollows for black cockatoos in appropriate habitats

  • Work with councils to plant pocket forests as food for black cockatoos

  • Organise tree planting and beach clean up events for the community to get involved and make an impact

  • Share the work and stories or carers, rehabilitators, wildlife hospital volunteers, researchers, scientists, rescuers, organisation founders, campaigners and citizen scientists

  • Provide overflow/after hours wildlife rescue + ambulance in WA for other rescue organisations, carers, shelters and hospitals

Our long term vision:

Looking ahead, our long-term vision is to own and care for land rich in biodiversity, a sanctuary where native habitats are protected, where injured wildlife can heal and recover, and where soft-release programs give them the best possible chance of returning safely to the wild.

Because we believe in a future where wild places are protected, respected and thriving and where those who care for them are never left to do it alone.

We aim to grow into one of Australia’s biggest grassroots wildlife charities making a real, hands‑on difference for wildlife conservation.

About Us

More than 250,000 wildlife requiring care each year

We see this number increasing each year. Putting pressure on wildlife hospitals, shelters and rehabilitators.

500,000 hectares of land cleared per year

Habitat Loss: Even if animals aren't directly bulldozed, their homes, food sources, and shelter are destroyed, often leading to slow starvation, exposure, or predation

2,055 total threatened species

In 2023 alone, a record-breaking 144 new species were added to Australia's national threatened species list
